warm breakfast

One of my favorite things on a cold, overcast morning is hot tea with a little bit of sugar, honey and milk. So incredibly perfect! :)

My dear boyfriend came to visit yesterday and he stayed overnight and so I was trying to think of something warm for breakfast other than oatmeal (since he hates it). I have always enjoyed hot Grape Nuts and so I made some real fast for us!

All you need is (all measurements are per person):
1/4 cup of Grape Nuts Cereal
1/3 cup of milk
1 T. Margarine
1 T. brown sugar

Mix all together in a pan on the stove. Keep an eye on it as it heats up and starts to boil. Serve once it thickens!

So simple and so good! I decided to add blueberries to mine for an extra bit of taste and they were so good! You can also add milk if it’s too hot for you! Enjoy!
